The Cam and Uley Family Practice has announced that they are extending Cam services so that patients will be able to book to see a doctor again at Uley Surgery from Monday 8th November!
Uley surgery will have to close for refurbishments sometime early next year but, in the meantime will be open to book using the current online or telephone service.
See the full statement from the Practice Manager below:
‘‘We are pleased to confirm that we have been given the go-ahead for Uley to re-open for GP consultations without IPC recommendations having yet been undertaken for an initial period while quotes are gathered for the works to be completed to meet infection control standards.
This will provide Uley residents with GP appointments and dispensary services whilst a plan for refurbishment is made to enable works to be completed to comply with the recent CCG infection control report. There will need to be a closure period when the works eventually get done which we would aim to be within the first quarter of next year. Therefore current Cam services will be extended and provided at Uley from next Monday 8th November, appointments will continue to be booked by phone through the normal booking system.
We anticipate that this will be good news for the Uley residents. We will continue to communicate re the refurbishment plan”.
