Village Hall

Uley and Owlpen Village Hall was originally built in 1849 to provide a meeting place for villagers and a venue for the Sunday School.  The current structure dates from 1913 and is used by many organisations on a regular basis including: Playgroup, Mothers & Toddlers, Uley Singing Allsorts, Uley Society, Uley Woman’s Institute, WI Craft Group, Art Group, Uley & Tabard Players and the Parish Council.

The Hall is managed on behalf of the village by a Management Committee.

Hiring Charges as of 1 February 2019 are:

Regular users (minimum of 6 bookings per year and not Saturdays or Sundays) £24.00 per session (2-3 hours)

Casual Users – £15.00 per hour up to 6.00 pm that day and in the evening – £20.00 per hour from 6.00pm to 11:30pm.

All Day Weddings – £220.00 until midnight.

A £50 returnable deposit may be required if the Village Hall is booked for a party.
